Lester Boodhoo

Lester is a leading practitioner in the Health, Safety and Environment field. He has over eighteen years experience in HSE in Latin America and the Caribbean and is experienced in both the Power Sector and Petrochemical Sector. Lester’s passion for HSE has seen him at the cutting edge of Responsible Care and Stakeholder Management in Industry.

 

Current with industry best practice, he has served in various positions and capacities including Chairing the American Chamber of Commerce  HSE Conference Committee, the premier event for HSE professionals in the Caribbean. Lester holds a BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of the West Indies and a MBA from the Heriot Watt University, Scotland.

Camille Roopnarine

Camille is a Senior Project and Environmental Specialist with over twenty years’ experience in working in the Caribbean Region. She has a proven history of success in managing multi-stakeholder projects in environmental management. Camille has worked with major international and regional agencies to identify needs, develop project proposals, get funding and execute projects according to clients' specifications.

 

Her experience includes working with both private organizations and regulatory agencies to ensure that project plans are developed and executed according to local laws and international best practices. Camille holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering and a MSc in Production Engineering and Management both from the University of the West Indies.
